On November 18th, our neighborhood was glowing green, not just from the green lights, but from the love behind them.
Our family, neighbors, and friends illuminated Temple and Valencia Drive in North Fort Myers to honor Daniel and everyone else affected by injuries. We stood in solidarity with families across the nation in support of injury prevention. We aimed to raise awareness about both intentional and unintentional injuries and to remind everyone how even the smallest decisions can lead to life-altering, devastating consequences.
Seeing every house shine green reminded us of what true community looks like—support, compassion, and presence in times of need. To everyone who participated, THANK YOU! We are shifting the narrative, moving the needle, and turning awareness into action, one bulb at a time, one person at a time. We absolutely make a difference, and prevention DOES matter.
