Duke Health offered a child passenger safety basic course for nurses within the health system. This information provided nurses with the foundation information about the types of child restraints, the recommendations and limitations of the various restraints, how to confirm expiration and check for recalls, as well as practicing proper harnessing and positioning in the seats.
