On November 17th, UnityPoint Health Des Moines along with others hosted the Preventing Childhood Injury Conference, where we highlighted many different injury prevention topics. This included, Dex Tuttle from Children’s Minnesota, who touched on ways we can rethink messaging for Injury Prevention Outreach. This is an overview of all of the topics from the conference: Navigating Challenging Communication with Families, Trends and Toxins, Dangers of Ebikes and Escooters, Rules of the Road, and Safe Sleep Studies.
