Staff at the 76th Street Clinic hosted a tabling event which delivered essential injury prevention tools and resources directly to community members. They actively provided life-saving safety products into the hands of families including 2, gun cable locks and 2 trigger locks, 4 new fire alarms, 5 properly fit bike helmets, and 8 rubber duck bath thermometers. Families were also provided comprehensive education through our detailed teaching sheets that covered topics like teen driving, safe swim practices, and car seat safety. We distributed 17 teaching sheets, 11 stress stars, 7 stickers, and 3 infant pacifiers. During our car seat clinic appointments, we ensured several children are traveling safely by providing them low-cost car seats for only ten dollars, helping remove the financial barrier to having a car seat.
