NCPW is hosting our 3rd annual NIPD Safety Carnival. Booths will be set up with education on fire safety, water safety, safe storage, motor vehicle safety, and safe sleep. Each booth will have a carnival game for kids to play while we education parents and guardians on each topic. This year, members from the Pediatric Pandemic Network will also be present education on disaster safety and providing emergency bags and child identification kits. This interactive community outreach program will be marketed to all the offices and clinics within the Novak Center. In previous years we have had contact with around 100-150 people. Our grand prize will be a basket of safety items including a gun lock, medication lock box, pack n play, life jacket, bike helmet, and door/cabinet locks.
