Event Details
Corewell Health Trauma Departments along with other Corewell Health Departments are working together to keep our community safe with injury prevention resources. Discover programs, resources, and safety initiatives designed to prevent injuries and promote wellness.
Injury prevention topics that were addressed were:
Athletic injuries, mental health, burn prevention, safe driving, fall prevention, car seat safety, stop the bleed, safe storage, walking on ice and slip prevention.
Estimated around 200 participants. Participants received injury prevention items like gun locks, reflective gear, night lights, and other evidence based material for injury prevention and resources for their community. This event was used as a networking opportunity for vendors and participants.
